What Is Skin tone and How It Determines Your Nail Polish Color?

What influences your choice of nail color? It could be your mood, the color or trend. All of these reasons are not wrong. But first, you need to know your skin tone. I have discovered that most ladies choose their colors based on what they see on others which doesn’t work out most times.

Before you wear that nail color, just be sure it compliments your skin.

Skin tone: simply means whether someone is light/fair, medium or dark in complexion. Colors you can see on the surface of your skin.

Undertone: Colors underneath the surface of your skin. Which are divided into three:
Warm: [yellow, green, golden or olive undertones]

Cool: [pink, red or bluish undertones]

Neutral [a mix of warm and cool undertones]

How to know your undertones your skin has:
Stand in natural light, either outside or by a window and look at your arm skins with pink, blue or red undertones is considered cool

Or look at your wrist, if your veins look blue, you already know what your undertones is.
If green that means warm.

Now, let’s talk about your skin tone and undertones
