Nail Colors and Personality

It is good to be back! So sorry... I have been busy lately. I came across some articles recently and it got me thinking... Personality? What does it have to do with your nails? I learned a lot from these articles which also inspired me to share this with you.

Remember that two weeks ago, we talked about your nail polish and skin tones but today, we will be discussing your nail polish and  personality. if you find yourself using a particular color(s) from time to time. Well, it is obvious that you like that color and in a way it defines your personality.

Personality can be defined in different ways: in terms of individual or people in general. For this article, let us focus on individual. We can simply say it is the combination of characteristics or qualities that form an individual's distinctive character. This is really getting interesting! right? Play with colors, discover your style and define your personality!

Red:  Poise, Hot and Sexy

Red is a sexy color any day, anytime. It is classy and stands out for boldness. If you are shy, don’t dare! For brighter reds, you are probably more playful. Burgundy and maroon designates stylishness and depth.

Yellow/Neon:  Energy, Creativity and Warmth

Evokes energy, carefree and creative. It also means you are not afraid to try something new. It designates independence and spontaneous.

Black: Powerful and Rebellion

It gives you a sense of power.  It also evokes insurgence and uneasy. But it lets you enjoy making your rules. Sometimes, you just want to be in your own world.

Blue: Calmness and Stability

 It evokes calmness. Which is associated with stability. Blue is fun and experimental and also means you are open to change.

Orange: Sociable and Cheerful

Full of life, fun and flashy. A little restless and always ready for challenges. If you love bright and bold shades means you are firm. If you like pastel orange and soft coral, then you are more cheerful and sweet.

Pink: Shy and Feminine

Purple: Royalty, Compassionate and Idealistic

                             

It means you are compassionate and imaginative. It evokes a unique personality. If you like deep purple, it means you have high ambitions and love for luxury. if you favor lilac and lavender, you are probably more gentle and open-minded.

Light/Pale pink: for someone who is quiet and shy.

Hot pink: the party cannot start without you.

Green: Nature, and Strong - willed

It means you like nature. For richer emeralds and teal means you are strong- willed, for brighter grass greens and mints shades means you are sweet and lively.

Nude: Stylish, Hardworking, and Supportive

They are low- maintenance nails.  You don’t mind doing this all over again. You don’t like attention and follow trends.

Gold: Fashionable and Sophisticated

If you love Gold metallic, it means you like Center of attraction, you appreciate drama, vintage and romance. You dress to kill and sophisticated.

Silver: It designates you have a strong feminine liveliness.
